This installation steps are applicable for the OpenCart versions 2.0.x.x, 2.1.x.x, 2.2.0.0, 2.3.x.x, 3.x.x.x

• This extension requires the base plugin developed by HuntBee OpenCart Services.
• This extension works on OpenCart’s OCMOD Modification. No file overwritten.

Step 1

1. Install SEO Extension base plugin. If already installed, you can skip this step.

Step 2

1. Login to your website admin
2. Navigate to Extensions > Installer
3. Upload seo-canonical-x.x.x.ocmod.zip
4. Navigate to Extensions > Extensions > SEO Extensions
5. Click the install button on SEO Canonical URL
6. Click on the edit button
7. Choose the type of canonical URL you want (Long URL recommended).
8. Click on Save. You are done.
9. Go to Extensions > Modification. You will find SEO – Canonical URL. Click on refresh modification.
10. Test and validate the canonical tags on your website.
